I have miss feelings about it!...When you Love and respect somebody/something you don't really enjoy when others make fun of them/it...BUT we have being taught that "Experience shows that seasons of negative publicity about the Church can help accomplish the Lord... See More’s purposes. In 1983, the First Presidency wrote to Church leaders, “Opposition may be in itself an opportunity. Among the continuing challenges faced by our missionaries is a lack of interest in religious matters and in our message. These criticisms create . . . interest in the Church. . . . This provides an opportunity [for members] to present the truth to those whose attention is thus directed toward us."

"My boss sent out a mass email to all the people on our office Mailing List (many of whom are constituents, I work for a state senator) saying "Happy Hannukah" and giving other well wishes. My boss is jewish, but we ARE planning on sending out a merry christmas email as well.
However, we got over 200 replies to that email. Most were snide, saying something like "And a merry CHRISTMAS to you too, asshole". One even just said "go fuck yourself".
