noun. Example sentence:Mia cognata è una donna simpaticissima, ma talvolta è un po' maleducata.Translation:My sister-in-law is a very nice person, but sometimes she is a bit rude.

noun. Example sentence:La sabbia dell'Isola di Vulcano è nera perché è lava.Translation:The sand of Vulcano Island is black because it is lava.

adverb. Example sentence:Il fiume raggiunge quasi il livello di guardia, c'è rischio d'inondazione.Translation:The river has almost reached the danger level; there is a risk of flooding.

verb. Example sentence:Firenze è una città bellissima che merita assolutamente una visita.Translation:Florence is a very beautiful city that absolutely deserves a visit.

adjective. Example sentence:Sono sposata da 30 anni e sono sempre stata fedele a mio marito.Translation:I have been married for 30 years and I have always been faithful to my husband.

verb. Example sentence:Il nuovo lavoro ti permetterà di avere più tempo libero.Translation:Your new job will allow you to have more free time.

verb. Example sentence:Dopo il lavaggio, asciugherete l'argenteria con un panno speciale.Translation:After you've washed it, you'll dry the silverware with a special cloth.

This year has been great year for le noci (walnuts), and every day I go out to pick up manciate (handfuls) of them that have fallen from un noce (a walnut tree) in front of our house...
