October 7, a fine group of foodies bundled up and headed out into the food haven called Leelanau Peninsula! Clay at Carlsons' Fisheries talked to us (and drew pictures!) about the different ways they catch their fish. Cristin, Kevin, and Dave at Bel Lago gave us a grand tour with many tastings (Pinot Grigio Chardonna...y is a new favorite). And Judy Reinhardt showed us the October crops around the CSA. We finished off the day with a local feast made by Chef Lynne Brach, including maple glazed salmon and whitefish!!Read More
