Kurt Carl Wilner Desperate to replace my suddenly-dead X40, 10/19/09, I ordered a Lenovo X200S ThinkPad the next day. I believed the salesman, Hunter Bray, when he said the package would include a "free" upgrade to Win7 (from Vista Business Premium); he even said it might have Win7 installed, if it were built after 10/22/09. Not only d...idn't it ship til 10/30/09 (bearing Vista), I now must pay $17.03 "shipping & handling" to get Win7 sent "within two weeks." BUT, if I ordered the exact-same system, tonight, not only would its price *equal* what I paid, but Win7 already would be its OS. (I have spec sheets from both 10/20/09 and 11/05/09.) Both Bray and his manager, Steve Watson, last night disputed what "free" means (and forget about "good will, satisfaction, return business," etc.). Yes, it's a cheap cheat; but a cheat all the same.
