“NATIONAL BOARD TIPS - I SCORED 386 POINTS” Hi, my name is Vicky Leon. I received a scaled score of 386 points and obtained my National Board Certification in 2000. Teachers need a scaled score of 275 points to receive the National Board Certification.
I decided to write “National Board Tips - I Scored 386 Points”... with the hope that teachers will find that one, two, or more tips which may help them through the National Board process. "National Board Tips - I Scored 386 Points" includes more than 50 tips that helped me pass the National Board. It also has an example of a Key Words list teachers should use when writing their portfolio and assessment center exercises and a sample schedule to help teachers plan their National Board timeline.
