Katrina should have
shown us what they are ready to do to us should the time be right. stay
vigilant citizens, the hill we have just begun to climb has barbed wire
and land mines. I will not say "up the hill", but follow me while I
make sure the path is clear. Look out for fellow Libertarians, make
sure they know how to def...end themselves, because the witchhunt is
coming. God bless you all, may life be fruitful and without without
confrontation for us all!!!!

Gun laws only affect the law abiding. hows
about use the Libertarian point of view and hold people accountable for
their actions. Use a gun in a crime, do life. fire a gun in a crime, do
life. Hit someone with a bullet and do life.

now I know our jails are full but thats because federal goes after the
very insignificant pot... heads and drunkards for full penalty, yet a man
who murders can actually get out of jail in a few years. back opn the
streets...why? to cause more crime to keep the statistics up to help
convince the citizenry to give up their right to protection of their
families not only from home invaders but from the federal marching in
with Blackwater and slamming your 76 years old grandma on the ground
for giving up her revolver to them without a fight.

A good test for any politician is to ask them if they are willing to do everything within their power to enforce the Constitution and Bill of Rights. If they say yes, a final test of their sincerity is to ask if they are willing to repeatedly submit and support legislation to eliminate all federal, state, or local gun control laws, euphemistically ... Read Moreknown as citizen disarmament laws. If they are not willing to do so, then they do not trust the American people, and therefore do not really believe in supporting the constitution. The 2nd amendment is quite possibly the most important of the amendments, because it is the one amendment that allows people to protect themselves from criminal activity and illegal govt excesses. Eliminate this amendment, and govt has nothing to stop them from eliminating the others as well.

I know a man who molested several girls, beat multiple women, and raped at least one girl. He's a registered sex offender and had to move because he lived too close to a school, but that's about all that happened to him. I also read in the newspaper about a group of kids between the ages of 17 and 20 who were caught with alcohol at a party and are now doing time...something just seems odd to me about this...

Libertarian,
Green, Independent, they all can just as easily disappear as fast as
the American Party, or the Worker's party, of the Federalists and
Whigs, does anyone remember the "Know nothings"? of course not because
they have all been quashed by financial sector interests through the
years. Don't I repeat don't let this ...movement die. Use Iran as an
example to look outside a minute and find that our federals are just as
ready and eager to squash anyone not part of the two party system as
some third world countries they try to make seem are the only tyrants.
I say boycott the Republicans!!! Boycott the Democrats and scold the
independents for not acting when they should have. Last and finally
lest not forget how our right to bear arms has kept the federal
government from virtually pushing everyone around and Hassan shooting
the military base was a planned proceeding they knew it all along but
will use this as a means to allow more stringent restrictions on law
abiding citizens rights.

every male aged 16 is considered actively in the Militia of their
State(Patriarchal society early on left out women but I won't) and each
state has the right to tell federal to go somewhere else. you are all
embarking on a great migration that WILL go down in history. I was once
a Democrat, a Liberal, a poor man, and I was... hated while Bush was
president by all my peers. After the election and the recent actions of
our government, I was inclined to become a conservative, until they all
started singing the same song. When I realized that I wasn't ignorant
enough for repubs and I wasn't naive enough for Dems that it was time
to look for a party that held my views.

Isn't there something in the constitution that more less says that if a state doesn't like the government and believe that it is over stepping its bounds, they can resign? Isn't that what the civil war was really about? I seem to remember reading that in there somewhere...

if you stuff your face with tacos and get fat, its not the tacos fault. If AIG is going under...you let it. The economy is a distraction, doesn't seem much different on the bottom here as it was four years ago, just now the media is screaming to get our attention off the attrocities being commited by our own Federals. ...The constitution is unchangeable, our future is still uncertain. Just by coming to this site, you have guaranteed your name on a red list of bad people. It's also not the Taco Bell corporate office's fault, either. They are responding to customer demand for tacos. If they didn't, they'd go under, as well they should. People need to be willing to accept responsibility for their own actions. People also need to be willing to demand that congress enforce the constitution as it was written and take our liberty and freedom back.

umm we can definitly change the constitution, last I checked we have done it several times, and the economy is the most important issue for any informed citizen. For as F. A. Hayek explained, authoritarian economics will always lead to authoritarian social policy.

Liberty's Voice
by William Wesley

Is my thinking a threat to the powerful elite,
to the judge in the court, or the police on the street?
Are they afraid of me informing others about their actions?
And their control of the population with media distractions!

I'm a concerned citizen looking for insight!
I don't care about the l...eft, I don't care about the right!
I support a third party with a different view;
of how we should live and what we should do!

I support a citizens right to dissent;
to question authority and its intent!
My rights were given to me by a divine entity!
Not from a government that looks down on me!

I will protect my family, my life, and my liberty!
I will fly the flag that says "Don't Tread on Me"!
We've got serious issues facing this nation!
I am seeking solutions not retaliation!

Millions of Americans are begining to unite!
If that's what it takes to make things right!

Michael Pelman I started out a Demicrat because the said "They were for the working man". Found out they were for the NON-working man.
I became a Republican because they said "They were for business" Found out they meant GIANT business only.

This country has got to turn around and get back to our roots. Sadly I don't think it will happen but I will do what I can.

Like you Ryan, I am a Republican who has recently looked at the Libertarian party and I fully intend to change my party affiliation. It just seems so frustrating to have to chose between two people who are nominated by interest groups with a lot of money and who don't seem to have any common sense. It is destroying our nation. What the Libertarian ... Read Moreparty seems to stand, in my opinion, is common sense and the limitation of an overly expanded, bloated government. I'm tiered of rhetoric, I'm tiered of stupidity.

Is it True That Suicide is Illegal? I was reading Time or Newsweek the other day, and at the end of the magazine they were talking about how "free" America is. One of the unfreedoms he listed was suicide. It's illegal to take your own life? That is SO messed up. What's up with that? If someone wants to check out, they ...cant? I can picture it now "Well guys, I think my time is up. Thanks for everything. If there's a next life I'll see you there." Uhuh. You can't do that. You're not going anywhere. Sheesh. We better make dam sure not to botch it.Read More

The Ethics Committee for Congress is such a joke. No one ever gets a reprimand, or indighted, look at Charlie Rangle. I was glad to see that William Jefferson from LA did get jail time, like 30 years. But I bet that he will get off with no penalty.

We need to send all of our crooked congress persons to jail when it is found out that they are ripping us off. They will continue to lie to us and to cheat us until we show them that we are not going to take it anymore, and we will send them to jail and throw away the key.
