    Amanda Cahill Hey Guys just wondering if it is normal for premmie babies to have very dark green olive poo? it has been happening for the past 3 days not sure if it is from the iron supplements? he has been on them for a few weeks now and the poo has only recently changed colour. Ethan was born at 30+3 and now 9weeks and 3 days old (actual). Any help would be much appreciated

      • L'il Aussie Prems Yep Iron Supplements will make poo green, Tristan (34 weeks) is now 13 months and his poo has turned green from the iron.

          Donna Farley Hey Guys, Just wondering if any of your babies are on s26 prem gro formula and if they have issues with constipation? It is helping my little boy to put on weight but is having massive constipation issues or very hard stools! Any ideas? He is 4 months but 2 months corrected

            • Donna Farley Thanks Siobhain say his paed today and we have now changed to karicare soy so hoping that helps : ) we do give him water and he loves that for something different would just be nice to not have to see him struggle so much with it but hoping it sorts itself out soon! Wow sounds like your little man is doing well he must be a good feeder! How early was he?

            • Siobhain Sharma Hey Donna, azaan was 26+5 and is 8 weeks corrected tomorrow, nah hes not a good feeder at all he cant seem to take more then 80mils at once but most of the time he takes between 60-80mils every 2-3hrs and if im lucky he gos 4hrs over night...let me no how u go with karicare...how early was ur bub?

          Heidi Murphy question for fellow premmie parents.... i had a 35 weeker who is now 16 mths but she is not saying many words.... say mum, dad, lily (which is only 1 of 3 other siblings) ouch and ohno.... peads said that talking come with teeth and as she is delayed with that too and only just got her 4 th tooth speech will soon foll...ow. speech thearphy says that as she needed NGT feeding from 3-7 mths of age due to servere feed refusal she will then also have a speech delay... ontop of this friends say that its due to having 6 ear infections in past 7 mths..... i just want some advice if i should be concerned. she does say baby babble but just not words.....
