Lindy and Blues No Powerhouse Blues tomorrow night (12/21), and none next week either (12/27)! Sorry guys - we had planned to have PhB tomorrow, but Philly's slow plowing has left us snowed in, and frankly, we're enjoying the cocoa and Hulu. You do the same! LaB is still on for this Tuesday night (12/22), but we'll be skipping next we...ek (12/28)! Happy Holidays, and see y'all Tuesday. PhB will resume on January 4th.

Just a reminder that tonight we’ll be holding our first monthly tryout for the advanced blues lessons that happen every week before the dance. Carsie and Jon will teach an int/adv class as usual at 7:30, but the class will be open to all for the purpose of auditioning. If you're not game for the tryouts, come for some social dancing from 9pm to 11:15pm. Don't let the cold weather keep you in!!

For those of you who don't know, Lindy and Blues is a volunteer swing dance organization in Philadelphia. They run a number of weekly events, and the "main one" is a wonderful tuesday night dance with lessons.
Lindy and Blues
Learn to dance in one day – no partner required! Lindy Hop is a partnered swing dance done to jazz and big band swing music. At this workshop, you’ll learn everything you need to know to have a great time Lindy Hopping, so you can join us every Tuesday night at LaB!
