ive been using my pen for almost a month now and i have no discomfort when writing with it and have been using this pen as an every day pen.

the notebooks dont need to be ordered in advance at all cause they got them in target and they only cost a tiny bit more which isnt bad cause it can do a lot of stuff. eventually youll be able to print your own dot paper using a laser printer which is pretty cool.

:)))

Well, I haven't bought my pen yesterday or a week ago - I have it for a couple of months ago while it was fun at the beginning to show 'cool tricks' to friends and family - I soon discovered that it is almost useless as an every-day pen for taking notes: it's simply hard to write with it for a long period of time, so those who plan to us it during lectures should forget about it.

As I mentioned earlier the device is a very good voice recorder with added bonus to make short notes which will be linked to the voice recording (in a special notebooks and journals which are not cheap and which have to be ordered in advance).

In addition there are lots of usability problems with the pen and the software - so 'cavet emptor' ;)

My advice for those who don't really need a $200 voice recorder is to wait for the v2.0 of the pen, when I am sure they will fix most of the problems with the pen design and its usability...

Just bought mine today on a whim at the campus bookstore and so far I'm loving it! It's the only thing making me glad school it about to start!

Over the summer, the Pulse smartpen headed south to Hollywood for demonstrations to folks in the entertainment industry. In June, attendees of the MTV Movie Awards checked out the Pulse in the gift lounge atop a hotel.
