I think we would have a tough time passing this law in California. This is a good idea, I applaud Howard County. Hope there are many more to follow.

Natalie Forch Krohn *Please join my page "Together We Will Win". * I cannot tell you how amazing it feels to have a place for all of us to share our experiences. I felt like I was all alone - everyone I met had one of the major cancers, and no attention was given to the "rare" cancers. All are welcome - and I will take this as far as I can..... my promise to all of you!

Jacques- great question! We launched our global campaign this Summer at the first ever LIVESTRONG Global Cancer Summit in Dublin, Ireland. Our global strategies will include working with current cancer orgs around the world to help combat stigma of the disease, get access to treatments, tobacco control, increase funding in their own countries for cancer care and more. Go to http://www.livestrong.org/global for more info.

Lorraine- cancer fatigue is so incredibly common and very difficult to combat even years after treatment is over. We always recommend talking your your doctor about what will work best for you. We have a partnership with YMCA's across the country where there are special exercise classes specific to cancer patients/survivors. Check your local Y to see if they offer. It will be available at 150 Y's nationwide in 2010.
