Mike I lost my father to cancer and would like to see us win this fight against cancer. Maybe even during our lifetimes!! Wouldn't that be awesome!!

Jo Ann Stone Koodrich My husband has been fighting gallbladder cancer for nearly two years. We feel very lucky, since his first diagnosis was 2 to 4 months. We're hoping and praying for more research for this aggressive type of cancer. We all have to keep fighting. We just gave Livestrong bracelets to all our family and friends.

I was diagnosed with bone cancer in November at the age of 23 after a biopsy.. The type of cancer I had is similar to what Canadian icon TERRY FOX had.. I had a major surgery on November 27 to remove just over 25 cm (10 inches) of my femur and replace it with a bone doner so that the cancer would not spread and take my... life.. I am out of hospital and fighting hard.. Doctors told me if I fight hard enough I will be able to bike again this year..
I have set my goal to be back on my bike this coming summer... I have to learn to walk again and have lots of muscle damage but nothing is going to stop me now that my hopes are up..
All i can say is keep fighting i am with all of you LIVESTRONG

Emily My step-dad is battling lung cancer. He's been through chemo and after two sessions there was no sign of cancer but he's still in a lot of pain. They're doing radiation now, and I'm not sure how much that's helping. He just went back to the hospital tonight. My dad died of pancreatic cancer 2 years ago. I support Lives...trong and think that what you do is wonderful.
