As I stated on another comment site, I would like to see a lot more research dedicated to triple negative tumors. I am also a member of SHARE Organization in NYC. They have 13 clinical trials about new drugs for triple neg tumors, but there is still much more information to obtain. Like Luanne asked, do I also have to wait for metastisis before I am a candidate for any of these clinical trial drus? I am a two year survivor and warrior, diagnosed age 42.

I shared my story to lbbc. I am a two year triple negative survivor. There are so many stories of tumors that respond to tamoxifen and herceptin. How about more research dedicated to triple negative tumors? I am treating this breast cancer holistically because it helps me to stay positive.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer Discussion topic of the week: Breast Cancer Awareness Month may be over, but we still need to spread awareness throughout the rest of the year. What would you say to someone who doesn't know much about breast cancer? What would you want them to know?

Living Beyond Breast Cancer "I’m not thankful I had cancer; I’m thankful of what I’ve done with it. You have to live every day and be aware of every day. You can’t do this on your own, so take support from those around you. Surround yourself with people who love you and want to see you through it. But most important, believe that you’ll get through it." -2009 honoree Emily Scattergood
