Just a simple but factual quote by Adrienne Rich: "Life on the planet is born of woman".

We would not be who, or where we are today if it were not for women.

Violence against women is an abhorrent act and one that is unforgivable.... See More

Leah Craven did such a wonderful job of Machado Joseph Disease on Groote Eylandt. It was a pleasure to work with her. Her story was accurate and so well put together.

Well done Leah, this is a story needs to be told, and you did it gracefully and with empathy. They are amazing people, in unbelievable circumstances, living lives we can't begin to imagine... thank you for honouring them and their struggle.

SBS Living Black was just talking with an interpreter from Mutitjulu about ideas the senior women have for stories. They want to get some positive images of Mutitjulu out there to counter all the sad things that have been highlighted by the media.

I agree Elvianna, then we have some of our own mob that get into these senior government positions and sell out communities again just to move up the bloody career ladder, they do whatever the mainstream fella's want with total disregard of the effect it will have on the communities then put on a bullshit face and tell people within the community they are so supportive of local people when they know they are making appalling decisions to better their own backsides and pockets, makes me sick!!!!
