El Salvador and Suriname are the ones I havent made it to yet, but not sure i will get there next year.. just moved to Canada, so im a little closer than normal.. shouldnt be too hard to get back to the states though!!!

In Thailand there is the unnerving pii kaseu: she has a beatiful woman's face and floats through the air, but underneath the head there are only entrails! I'm not sure what dire deeds she gets up to, but just the sight of her on a dark night would surely give you a heart attack! You see pictures of her on book covers in Thai bookstores sometimes.

While Driving through Costa Rica... Read More’s North West coast my wife and I were too lazy to drive back to the highway (okay I was too lazy), I decided to ‘cut across country’ on some 4×4 roads in our rented Rav 4. It was 1:00 pm and we had to find a Hotel by 6:00 pm, ‘plenty of time before dark!!’
We ran …out of roads ended up off the map on mud trails and had to drive through rivers. We saw numerous animals and stopped so many times along the way taking pictures, that we lost track of time. Over four hrs without seeing anyone and the fuel gauge warning light appears! Every time we crested a high hill I steered towards the direction of the ocean and hoped for the best, at 5:45 pm we emerged miraculously 100 yds from a great local hotel on the main road to the beach strip. One of our best driving days!!

P.S. Of course I told my wife I knew where I was going the whole time… She still laughs!
