I just got started, and I'm really liking Lose it. Thanks for giving it to us! It's so useful I can't believe it's free.

This may be a pipe dream, but I would love a companion application on my computer or online where I could view my data and most especially create and edit recipes. Read on for why...

I eat mostly scra...tch cooking, either at home or from the kitchen of the natural foods co-op where I work. I'm a creative cook and I like a lot of variety. Entering all the recipes for the stuff I eat could take a big part of my day on an ongoing basis. I think it's much more healthful to eat these kinds of foods, but I find myself drawn to processed packaged foods just so I can have the label to give me the nutrition data.

Keeping my journal on my iPhone is super-easy and efficient. A companion app on a computer with a keyboard would be much more efficient for creating new recipes and other such maintenance work. I would gladly shell out money if this were available.

Robyn So So So happy with Lose it!!! I have lost 30 lbs in 13 weeks and have gone from a size 14 to an 8. I also used Ifitness for planning my workout and these tools together have been so helpful to me.

Eric I have seemed to have plateaued at 24 lbs. I have been at my current weight for two weeks now. Not sure why. I have been sticking with it and walking everyday. I hope the weight loss starts again soon. Any suggestions?

No program is perfect... it may be estimating your basic metabolic level incorrectly, or some other sort of error, and you've actually reached maintenance weight for the calories you're consuming. If Sasha's suggestions don't help, you may need to adjust your calorie goal.

I'm not an expert, just my thoughts.

Thanks. On some days, I actually never reach my daily calorie goal. I have been using this since July and have lost 25 lbs. so far. I hit a plateau before, but it only lasted a week.
