This event is hosted by Jack Lawton from The Lawton Drum Company. Our family of those with passion for drums attended. Ludwig's Jim Catalano hosted the Ludwig display. On a stop at the Star Plaza Theater on the Indiana/Illinois boarder, we caught up with the Gretchen Wilson tour and Ludwig Drummer Ron Gannaway. After swapping favorite lines (like "COVERED WAGONS" and "I got a weal wed wagon!") and disussing pivotal drumming albums, Ron knocked us out with his heavy-hitting, big-swin...ging, furious groove and killer chops. Ron drove the band through a 70-minute set of new favorites and classic standards, sitting low behind his 26" Classic Maple kick.
