It seems the meds will kill us before the disease will. Its hard to find meds that help when you have so much going on at once.
I've been on Prednisone off and on for years with no problem it helps me when I flare up. I've tryed Paquenil,Methotrexate,Imuran,Celebrex, Cellcept. I had some bad experiences with some of these. I was going to try ... Read MoreEnbrel but even with PhX insurance its to much money. So I'm back to researching something effective but less expensive. Its always something. I'm going to keep on looking. Any suggestions anyone?

So sad. I have had lupus since 1986. Since then I have had a kidney transplant and i am doing great. So keep fighting and never give up.There's a saying that say "I never said it would be easy I only said it would be worth it" I love that quote.

quite scary and too young...my husband is 46 and he really was depressed to hear about her passing.....we pray everyday that he won't be one who passes way too early, especially since it is progressing and he is soooooo tired and wiped out by it right now. He has had it for 11 years now and keeps pressing on.....keeps fighting thank goodness!
