Sign Up for Two Strange and Wonderful Evenings with The Humans and special guests...
Rachel Bunting, 2010 CDF Lab Artist and director of The Humans, is joined by six dancers, 4 visual artists, and 2 musicians in an event which co-mingles dance with other art forms. Set in a private gallery, Bunting's work explores nostalgia, personal history, and the moments of time before an ending takes place. Deeper than that--it also explores the experience of letting go.
Choreography: Rachel Bunting
Dancers: Karla Beltchenko, Rachel Bunting, Precious Jennings, Kelly Kane, Helen Lee, and Matt McMunn.
Music: Dorian Taj. LustKillers Acoustic (8/27 10pm)
Visual Artists: Heather Young, Lexy Strong, Natalie Borchers, Ray Borchers

Two nights only: Friday and Saturday, August 27 & 28, 6-11pm. Doors open at 6, live music starting at 7:30 and site specific dance will occur throughout the space beginning at 8pm. Refreshments will be served.

The Chicago Dancemakers Forum (CDF) is a catalyst for innovation and a means to increase dynamic interaction among Chicago's dancemakers. Launched in 2003, CDF was created in response to the ongoing need to fund the research and development of new directions in dance. The program is designed to cultivate artistic exploration and growth by funding dance artists in their creative process. CDF also hosts workshops, work-in-progress feedback sessions, and critical forums and discussions for the broader Chicago dance community. CDF is led by a consortium comprised of two independent artists, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Links Hall and The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago.
