I'm a grad student from Stanford taking a "tinkering" class. My design team of 7 (Stanford and Paris) are trying to invent the future device that combines all social media technology (TV, radio, facebook, twitter, etc.) What would that device look like? We started off with some need finding and benchmarking. Now we are tinkering. Check us out at Social Media Innovation from Stanford to Paris.

I was there! The massive steel wings were amazing, and there was this really cool costume that some wore on four stilts and made them look like some mystical giraffe. That was surreal!

Maybe Make can help by producing actual Chemistry Sets to go along with the Science Room. Chemistry Sets today have very little use other than making color changing liquids.
