Nancy I took Bonnie's Biology of Women class in the spring of 2000 as a freshman. I remember that my friend Kim and I wanted to get into her class so badly that we got in line at the admission's office at 3 a.m. so that we would be first in line. I think we ended up maybe being 3rd and 4th in line, but we got the last two ...spots in her class! We were so excited! Her class was the only early morning class I had that I actually wanted to go to every day because I never quite knew what I was going to see or hear in there. She shared so much useful information in that class! I think it was probably the most practical course that I have ever taken. My thoughts are with her family! She will be missed!

Cathy I also started my Biology major with Bonnie's classes in the old bio building. She was instrumental in forming my passion for conservation and environmental issues. I have thought about her often over the years. Catharine "Amoeba" Pierce Stringfellow, class of '71.

Linda Verner Smith I remember taking Bonnie's class in the old biology across the street. My daughter who graduated from Baldwin in 2004 took her woman's class when she was there. That was weird. Bonnie will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Linda verner Smith- class of 1972.

Anne I took a number of classes Bonnie taught in the 70's. She always made it so fascinating, and her field trips were the best! She was truly a character, and she will be missed!

Myra Leland Bio of Women was one of the best classes I've ever taken because of it's practicality, humor, and Bonnie Hohn's passion. I am so sorry for the future women of MBC that won't benefit from such an excellent teacher. My thoughts are with her family!

Victoria Bonnie Hohn sparked my love of science. Her Biology of Women class fueled the fire of that love. She will be missed...and she will forever be in my heart as the best biology professor I ever had!

Sara My biology of women class was a blessing I have passed on to many women who were hurting and needed information. I was better equipped to live as a woman and especially as a mother, because of the information Bonnie Hohn shared with us. She will be sorely missed. I think I will have a big cup of yogurt in her honor! ;)

Martha I am heartbroken to hear of Bonnie's death. She was a wonderful friend to me and to my daughter. We shall never forget Bonnie and always hold her dear in our hearts.

Heather Faris I'm very sad to hear about Bonnie's passing. She was always very sweet to me and I enjoyed her horticulture and biology of women class. She will be missed greatly. We both shared a love for animals and nature. Her sense of humor was priceless. I'll miss you Bonnie!!

Anna This was the first class I took freshman year at MBC - and I'll never forget Bonnie for her incredible humor and her birds. It made getting up for the 7am class worthwhile... She left an indelible impression, and I will always think of her with love and appreciation.

Souvenise Biology of Women was one of my favorite courses at MBC, she made the couse so lively with her sense of humor. She will truely be missed. Keeping her family in my prayers God Bless.

Dana Wolfe Niemeier Bonnie Hohn instilled a love of Biology in her students. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. She made Biology such a relevant subject and truly one of my most remembered professors. I learned to love the study of genetics in her class :) God bless!
