I will vote YES on Mason School Levy's Profile
  • I will vote YES on Mason School Levy
THANK YOU to the 100's of volunteers who went door-to-door to your neighbors, to the 1000's who displayed a yard sign, to the 100's who worked a poll today, to those who made phone calls, who passed out levy stickers, who encouraged friends to vote early, and who supported our schools, kids, and community.

      • Heather Menon I would like to offer my apologies to my girls, and to all the children in the Mason schools, we tried, but we can't make everyone understand how important the schools are to us.

      • Jennifer Lalley Beck I am in shock and disbelief. I am also angry and sad for my children and all the Mason families who work so hard every day so that their children can be a part of the Mason Schools. Everyone is struggling during these tough times, but our children should not have to suffer. Aren't we all here because of our children?!

      • Sally Patterson Le Cras DITTO DITTO DITTO. So hard to imagine that with all the hard work, the Media campaign and door to doors that we could lose. Might have lost the battle, but not the war!

I am beyond surprised that this happened. I'm so disappointed it turned out the way it did, and I don't understand the people who voted against it. Do they really think that the flourishing of Mason's kids is "unnecessary taxation"?! Don't ...live in Mason if you don't want to pay the taxes. And if the levy passed, you would have been able to move out of Mason with more money in your pocket because the property values would have skyrocketed!See More

      • Luis Carlos Diaz Sananes It is important to understand why the levy did not pass. I also do not believe that Education is an unnecessary taxation so it would be great to have further debate on the issue.
