Long time friends and former bandmates, Didit (guitar), Chrezma (drums), and Echa (bass) formed the framework of Mass Romantic in 2006 and rounded out the line up by adding Dodo (guitar) and West Borneo native Abe (vocals) in mid-2007.

Calling their music as Indo-pop, Mass Romantic emerged on the Indonesian music scene in mid 2007 and have quickly been making their mark on todays musical world. With influences ranging from The Beatles to Koes Plus ( Indonesian Band) to Weezer, Mass Romantic is stepping out with a fresh sound, taking mediocrity out of your standard pop-rock song. With a unique creativity and songwriting to die for, Mass Romantic is rapidly becoming a band you'll want to keep an eye on.

In the few short months that Mass Romantic has been a fully-functioning, recording new materials for the 2nd album, they have played at many National TV shows. They have also released a 12 song debute album and 4 samplers from their upcoming full-length, recorded at Nu Studio, Depok, Indonesia.

Most of the big radio station in Jakarta has featured Mass Romantic single "Narsis" on it's local music chart, as well as having them perform live acoustic on the show. They also took part in the SOUNDRENALINE, a big annual event where the big local bands perform.

As 2009 begins, Mass Romantic plans to take the opportunity to sit down to write new material since adding new members and work towards releasing a full length record. This year can only hold great things for Mass Romantic - with rock & roll in their blood and the upmost quality in their musicianship, the sky is the limit for this Indonesian artist.
