Alice Nichols Daniels Masterpiece Contemporary has been absolutely phenomenal this year--much better than last (though The Last Enemy was excellent). I am excited to see "Collision" by the fantastic Anthony Horowitz. I know there are a lot of Classic lovers out there and I am certainly one too, but I hope Masterpiece continues with the Contemporary dramas as well.

Judy Edmark Tsoukalas I LOVE Masterpiece Theatre---we've been watching it since the late 1970's. Amazing television!

Connie C Liu I am a Jane Austen fan! and also like PBS's great performances, such as Opera and classical music. wierd, right?

Joanna Yi any possibility Masterpiece will do Anne of Green Gables? would love to see that.

David McInnes A quick question for Masterpiece producers: My UK friends will bewatching Collision in five parts next Mon through Fri on ITV1. It will be on Contemporary Nov 15 and 22 in two parts, 120 min and 90 min. Will we be losing any of it in that editing? I hope not.

MASTERPIECE | PBS (Masterpiece Theatre) Attention Jane Austen fans! A Q&A with screenwriter Sandy Welch (Jane Eyre, our new version of Emma) is in the works. Post your questions by 11/9, and see if they make it into a web feature at pbs.org/emma closer to the January 24th premiere!

Mary Ellen Clogston I was so delighted to see Val McDermuid's excellent mystery on PBS. What a wonderful mystery writer (he) or (she) is. I have the book. I loved "Touch of Frost" "Inspector Morse" and the Swedish one was good too. The list goes on with Agatha Christie et al. I liked "Inspector Lynley" too but found the dialect hard to understand. Looking forward to many more.

I'd like to thank Masterpiece for presenting "A Place Of Execution". I was so excited yesterday when I read in an emal that this was going to be on. It was an excellent book that I read several years ago. I'd carried the characters with me in the back of my head ever since and would sometimes think about them and th...e story. I'd always wanted to see it done up as a movie. Great program choice!! Hats off to Masterpiece!!Read More

Latifa Classics, Classics! WE NEED THE CLASSICS!!

Phaedra Masterpiece, I'd like to inquire into the whereabouts of Inspector Lynley and Sergeant Havers. I miss them, and was left in a lot of suspense at the end of the last season.
