Thanks, they are quite the bargain as Christmas Gifts because they represent on average a 40% savings when compared to normal lodging rates, and they are open ended; the beneficiary calls and reserves when convenient for them to take some time off.

The farm and family prospered through the 19th Century, and Finley and Josephine Mast built the first part of the farmhouse in the 1880s. Around the turn of the century, the Masts began offering meals and rooms to tourists, enlarging the house to accommodate the growing number of guests. By 1915, the inn had 13 bedrooms and one bath. It was called "the Mast Farm" or simply "Aunt Josie's and Uncle Finley's."

Recent guest review posted on Bed and Breakfast Dot Com: "A wonderful 3 night stay at Mast Farm Inn. The Blacksmith Shop where we stayed was quaint, comfortable and impeccably clean. The staff was uniformly helpful, and service oriented. We asked for ideas for places to go for trail running, hiking and bicycling and were steered in the perfect direction each time. The food was outstanding. All in all a first rate stay. I don't know how they could have done any better."
