I used the beta when it first came out, load the RC version when it was offered, preordering the real deal Thursday! I LOVE IT! My laptop battery lasts about 2X longer and runs 1/2 as hot then with Vista. Not to mention the hours of finding drivers with Vista that I don't have to do with 7. Bring it on!

I have an older pc, and I've been running the RC for two months straight without any problems. It actually seems to run faster than XP, and the networking with the xbox 360 is flawless. I'll definitely be buying the cheap upgrade come payday!
Yahya at 5:00pm July 4
Microsoft has come a long way with Windows 7. Even in RC mode, it performs a lot better than Vista and XP, and has breathed new life into my computers, the new ones and the old ones alike.
And Maximum PC, keep up the great work.

Ubuntu is very user friendly and best of all you can run it from a USB key. I'm sure you can with others but its very easy to set up and I like the GUI

Jeremy at 11:08am June 19
I ran feisty fawn on my dell latitude c640, but it wouldn't work with my wireless card. If I could have wrote my own drivers I never would have left linux. The GUI for ubuntu is easy for even noobs.

I wouldn't mind a US IP to see the videos ;)
Robert at 7:14pm June 1
Ditto - blocked for all of us north of the 49th parallel.
Edgar at 1:43am June 2
Would love to watch any (uncensored) US programming on my PC, but HULU and the content providers have decided to block anyone outside of the US. So I go and do what mostly everyone else does...pirate it. I would even pay to watch it online, but even that seems to be out of the question from them unless you want to buy their overpriced DVDs.
