its funny because 471 people applied to run in the election but the gaurdian council chose 4. Thats technically not very democratic. Plus its not fair to call it a "revolution" considering mousavi's supporters are mostly the wealthy and upper class while the ahmadinejed is mostly the working and urban classes. These mousavi protesters only care about themselves and not for true reform. Feel free to disagree with me lol

The system and candidates in Iran leave a lot to be desired but I think that the protesters honestly believe they are fighting for liberty and democracy.

The poor classes in Iran are also generally the fundamentalists. The wealthy often send their children abroad for their university. (2/3rds of Iran under age of 30) Many of those youth rejecting the old ways. Whether this is because of their wealth or the often western education afforded them by this wealth is hard to say. Solely judging from ... Read Morephotos, many of the young Mousavi supporters look like normal kids. No face coverings, facial piercings, makeup. I mean, it's no GWAR show, but I think these kids have personal liberties in mind. Lastly, any blow vs fundamentalism anywhere is good. Here or there, IMHO.
