Model Citizen (MC) is a branded lifestyle platform which places emphasis on the art of living beautifully. MC does not believe in monetary standards of value, but instead strives to encourage that type of bizarrely desirable aesthetic and experiential value that moves people to elation and engages the senses in a way ...that makes you want to stick around. MC is magnetic. The scope of MC during its maiden year extends to home and image concept development, project management, and space and product sourcing. In 2010, MC is undertaking a year-long blog project, covering the many varying design and lifestyle considerations central to our mission of making people feel better by injecting luxury and beautifying the world we live in. At an average of 2.69 posts per week, this blog project will strive to summarize our vision into a neat and simple 140 posts. Future brand expansion includes product development, a fashionable furnishings and arts e-commerce, and a boutique beauty spa, among other exciting growth areas such as into the music arena and beyond. The forthcoming Model Citizen large-format hardcover book is also under works, and should be nothing shy of amazing. MC supports the visual and performing arts, and is actively involved in the international design and artistic community. MC is also active locally, with headquarters currently based in Miami, Florida. Miami offers MC a remarkable plethora of resources, an exuberant and wildly hot entertainment scene, and all the players who make up this blossoming and absurdly deliciously artful city. MC is service-centric, and always demands unyielding excellence. But above all, MC is pretty fuckin’ awesome.
