Hey Todd! Indeed, the name was inspired by the location... how I name my tracks is usually by listening to them a few hundred times (not always an exaggeration, lol) until its name comes to me, often from the imagery. And what came to me for this one were memories of Vedauwoo, Blair Wallis, Snowy Range, all the places my dad and I would go fishing/... See Morehiking. Vedauwoo had the best sounding name and, I believe, means "earth born" (?), as were those memories... sitting on a boulder catching my breath, watching the clouds scuttling overhead and the cool breeze over the sage with those red rocks in view.
