This weekend in Benton Harbor the Michigan Democratic Party will be voting on a proposed change to its bylaws that will allow 16 to 18 year old individuals to become state party members. By doing so we hope to capitalize on the successes Democrats had in organizing and mobilizing the youth vote in 2008, and support a m...ore inclusive view of the youth political perspective in our state party.

LANSING – L. Brooks Patterson now has one more French helicopter to add to the Oakland County fleet. In a taping of Michigan Matters on Thursday, Michigan Democratic Party Chair Mark Brewer presented Patterson with a toy chopper complete with French flags and “Bouchard for Governor” logos.
