We adopted one in 1975-76, but the Michigan Supreme Court threw it out, because in their wisdom, it didn't relate to the ethics clause and the campaign finance clause in the ominbus bill. And we never got anything again.
Mary at 2:15pm June 30

She paid $140,000 and put $40,000 down. The realtor took her to Countrywide and they provided the appraiser. No conflict of interest, there, huh? The appraiser used houses that were all over 1100 sq ft with one being nearly 1400 sq ft as comps, and lists the a half bath that isn't in our house. If you only use other houses that sold in that time period, 08-03, that are also less than 1000 sq ft, our house. All arranged by the REALTOR.
Rene at 7:44am June 30
Who knew that in the space of ten years we could see the market value of our house increase by 50%, fall back to the initial sale price, then return to the market value of 20 years ago. We've lost all the equity in our home, but in some sick sense feel ourselves "fortunate" in that we can sell our home without a short sale or forclosure. My ...
