A brilliant idea came to me. What are the chances that a "makeshift" ice skating rink could be constructed on the elliptical section of Turner Park during the winter/ holiday season? There could be an admission price... or a donation to the food bank, etc., like what ConAgra does for its skating rink. I think that w...ould help make Midtown Omaha a destination even during the chilly wintertime season... and help boost our economy at the same time! Local citizens would also be more willing to checkout the shops and stores at Midtown Crossing as well as the Marcus movie theater. Just a thought, that's all!Read More
