I will pray for you and may God keep us all in His care. Leadership is a high call and you seem to embrace humility, grace, maturity and a level of articulation that is unmatched by many of your peers. I believe we need politicians with feet on the ground and feet in the faith.
Ms. Palin is problematic. She may be a celebrity du jour, but she lacks maturity, cohesive articulation and substance. Her family life is a mess. She needs to "focus on her family" and take care of her home life. To throw one's own children in the horrific spotlight of public scrutiny and media attention shows her lack of discretion and mature thinking. She was not the optimal choice for a female veep: there were so many other well qualified, mature, vetted women to take that position.
This country needs leaders. There is quite a vacancy for solid strong mature leadership. Leaders provide direction and cast forward vision to the masses. We need "strong medicine".

Brent At first I was disappointed when I heard the Palin news. I'm hoping this will free her up to get busy in the lower 48. I think she could really slow down O's agenda.
