Mike Enzi has logged dozens of hours speaking on the floor against the Reid health care bill this month. The Senate has been in session for 14 consecutive days with Senator Enzi speaking on 13 of those days. It’s the longest the Senate has continually been in session in close to 100 years. He will stay as long as it takes to stop government-run health care.

I wonder what better offer there is? the society is not adequately responsive to to any other measure, which include sensitive concern towards the health care which would embrace all sections, Rich or Poor!

Mike Enzi ’s staff donated $760 to families of deployed Wyo. National Guard soldiers as a Christmas gift to the Enzis. Every year staff pools money together for a charity the Enzis support. This year they chose the Family Assistance Fund – a 501c3 that helps families of deployed Wyo. National Guard members. God bless our troops and their families.

Mike Enzi attended a Cookie Party today hosted by his wife Diana to thank all the Senate support staff (electricians, painters, cafeteria workers, etc.) for their hard work. He then went to the White House to talk to the President about creating jobs. He plans to speak on the floor on health care and then make it to his office Christmas party tonight.

Mike- please get the nonsense stopped back there. All of these freedom stomping bills are not even debatable. They are all unconstitutional. Now the EPA is going to control us! STOP! This isn't the America that I know.

Mike Enzi Senator Mike Enzi spoke on the Senate floor today about his experience when his daughter was born 3 months premature and how it has shaped his views ever since. He told his story while outlining support for an amendment that would prevent federal dollars from being used to pay for abortions under the Reid health care bill. The amendment failed.

I love the way people like Kim Anderson are more "proud to be a part of a country that respects choice" than one that would not kill an innocent baby. And why is it that all these "pro-choice" people are always more concerned about their choice AFTER they have conceived an innocent life?! And why is choice more important than killing a baby?! WHAT ABOUT THE BABY, KIM?!

Kim, as the mother of a preemie I can tell you that babies are VIABLE as you put it before 24 weeks - I have friends whose lovely, beautiful and VIABLE children were born at 23 weeks. Educate yourself before you speak and you will get a lot farther in this debate.

As my husband said Senator Enzi, thank you from the bottom of my heart for fighting for our most vulnerable citizens and for being an advocate for parents of preemies! Hang tough cowboy!

Mike Enzi was on a roll today on the Senate floor. He made sure his fellow senators understand the math behind the Reid health care bill. He went head to head with Senator Baucus from Montana about the budget gimmicks that steal from seniors. Senator Enzi is the only accountant in the Senate.

All we are asking is for the same health care covverage Senator Enzi and Senator Baccus are able to access. Is that too much to ask for? Don't all Americans deserve the same great helath care as the folks we vote into office?

Mike Enzi took some of his colleagues to task today for claiming the Reid health care bill doesn’t cut Medicare when it actually slashes billions from the program. The senator believes we need to bring down health care costs, reduce the burdens on small business, curb the deficit and protect seniors. There are plans ready to be ...debated that do these things. The Reid bill isn’t one of them.

Mike Enzi ’s wife Diana is in Texas this week with her CHAMPS program (CHildren Against the Mine Problem). She is visiting schools to share the story of children saving the lives of other children in the world by sponsoring land mine detecting dogs. Wyoming students were the first in the nation to raise funds to buy such a pup –... her name is “Wyoming” and she has been sniffing for land mines and saving lives in Sri Lanka for six years now. Mike Enzi VOTED NO. Unfortunately, 60 Democrats voted yes and the Reid health care bill will be considered by the full U.S. Senate. Enzi said this is not the end, however. The bill will be subject to change when the Senate resumes debate, which is scheduled to begin the week of Nov. 30.

Wouldn't it be cheaper for the federal government just to straight out buy insurance for the 36 million people that don't have it and want it? It would have to cost less than 1 trillion.

Mike Enzi is a former shoe store owner and he pulled experience from his sales background today to shine light on the attempt by members of Congress to pass massive health care reform against the will of the American people. “If the customer doesn’t like what you’re selling and they can’t afford the product, it’s time to find so...mething they want and can afford. If the customer doesn’t like it - don’t try a new sales pitch - find a new shoe.” Check out the video from his floor statement and news conference from today.
