Hi i'd like to start a class that teaches beginners burlesque. I'm really interested in developing the character i've created Coco Pops and incorporating singing and poetry into the act. If there are newbies I could tag along with or more experienced members who could recommend some places, i'd be so grateful.

Some of you might be interested in this... Boudiche in Ingram Street, Glasgow are having a Burlesque and Corset evening on the 12th November between 7-9pm. Their lingerie and accessories are really beautiful and might be of use for performances. There will be wine, nibbles and a 20% discount available too and there is the advantage of very private fitting rooms where you can get measured properly....

Hi, Is it me or has anyone else noticed that this year there have been far less fireworks going off and also a lack of organised displays!? Usually where we live there are lots of firework display going on, and people set there own off a lot too - before and after the 5th, but this year there has hardly been any!...

Ok so its SIX weeks to Christmas, but has anyone noticed how poor the christmas displays in the shops are this year, or is it just me and where I shop? I usually go along to two of my favourite Garden Centers where each year the displays are usually out of this world, I love to see the new stock for that coming Christmas, just so I can get a feel...
