i grew up in SF area but my family JUST recently moved to Austin..i agree that both cities are pretty amazing and beautiful, not to mention rich in history and culture...but Austin is a lot cheaper, thus win.

The part that you mentioned about Jake and the rest of the group was really sweet and I hope you guys do stay friends for a long time. I love the way you think...I tend to be the same way. I mean really, how big is the ocean? And how awesome would it be to travel the world? I hope you are having a blast over there Mitch...and since I will probably never end up traveling the world, maybe I will at least make it to Cali someday :)
