MISSION:

mkPLANET is a growing community designed and run by current missionary kids (MKs) and adult missionary kids (AMKs) that strives to provide a safe and open environment for interaction, information, and support on MK/TCK-related issues.

VISION:

1) Community
To become a multicultural community that focuses on the growth of meaningful connections among MKs, their families, and member care workers, to provide them with social and emotional support, and to facilitate dialogue among MKs surrounding issues unique to the MK/TCK lifestyle.

2) Networking
To develop partnerships and facilitate a growing network of helpful supports and resources among MKs, their families, MK/TCK care agencies, sending churches and mission organizations.

3) Resources
To offer MKs of all ages the opportunity to recognize, sharpen, and take ownership of the knowledge and skills that the MK/TCK lifestyle provides, and to equip them for the unique role they can play in the world around them through print and digital material, conferences, seminars, workshops, and networking.

To provide educational material and resources that MK/TCK care agencies, sending churches and mission organizations can use to better serve the MK community.

To continue to explore other ways to support and/or facilitate work with and by MKs both in their home countries and abroad.
