Tyler Hamlet So is there a real pro stand our mount solution for the Modbook? I have seen all the cheap stuff. I am looking for the heavy duty mount Axiotron uses at their displays. I am no business man, but when you have a niche market like the Modbook it seams that you could easily offer accessory such as the trade show mount and there would be a real interest.

Travis Keller I don't know what they did but when my mod book returned from a repair shop for a recent minor repair and bluetooth update, all of the sudden I was able to get the pen to work in Window XP (via boot camp). Auto Cad is fun again!

i've driven one. i'd say worth every single penny... provided you draw/doodle/cad/spacial-3d or something else a pen is unbeatable at to do with it. otherwise, i agree with you i can surf the web with my android for $200--though not be nearly as cool. ; )

these guys are leading the way at 15" and this kind of power, and on a mac. there is no better tablet anywhere at any price, and i promise you won't miss windows.

Can it be shipped as gift or something like this to Greece? last time i
made an order from USA i had a horrible experience with the custom fees. Also, the price in Europe is almost double! whyyy???

Gary Lister With the new MacBook released last week, how long before we see THAT model available as a Modbook? I plan on buying a Modbook in the next 3 weeks or so. I may want to wait if the next model Modbook is coming fairly soon...

The new Macbook is a unibody design, as is the Macbook Pro that is used in the Modbook pro. Best I can tell I see no reason with the way the Macbook Pro unidody is moded that axiotron would not release the new Unibody macbook Mod soon after the Modbook pro daube . Given that it appears the unibody is swapped for Axiotron's Multibody, I also feel ... See Morethat both the macbook "13" and macbook pro "13" and even dare I say it the "17" (don't wet yourself!) may all soon be modable.

Personal thought: If I were you I would opt for buying an older model modbook with the 2.4 ghz and use the saving on switching over to SSD given the tablet nature. I will be moding my 2.4 macbook and focusing on moding it in this way. I just feel safer with the SSD.
