Centro manages both listed and unlisted retail property and has an extensive portfolio of shopping centres across Australasia and the United States, with current funds under management of $20.3 billion. Centro is a customer focused, value adding and team based organisation and is looking for a dynamic paralegal who shares similar values. Successful candidates will join Centro's in-house legal department and will provide assistance with various tasks, including:
(1) legal research;
(2) reviewing legal contracts;
(3) preparing documents for execution;
(4) liaising with ASIC and external legal advisors; and
(5) administrative tasks.
These tasks will be situated in the context of an exciting and constantly changing background of property acquisitions and disposals, funds management, banking and finance, tax, stamp duty and general corporate activity. Centro is seeking a current LLB student (ideally in their 2nd-3rd year) with the capacity to work 2-3 days per week in Glen Waverley. Candidates must demonstrate the following qualities:

Student Marketing Australia provides an exceptional opportunity to over 250 university students every year, allowing them to work as part of a team running creative, challenging and professional marketing campaigns on their campus, starting during O-Week. There is no direct selling.
The campaigns allow students to work directly with major marketing departments and gain real-world marketing experience. This year our staff worked with iconic brands such as Apple, the Commonwealth Bank, Sydney Morning Herald, Privacy Commissioner, and Adobe.
A full day of paid training is provided, covering topics like project management, marketing planning and communication skills. Our teams then go on to develop and execute their own marketing campaign, while being paid above award at $18.50 per hour. All staff receive a written reference at the conclusion of the campaign.

7. Teach for Australia – Marketing Competition
Teach For Australia is running an online marketing competition for undergraduate university students with at least one more year remaining in their degree. We are asking entrants to devise a simple marketing plan to market Teach For Australia on their respective university campus.
The competition consists solely of a written plan of no more than three pages. The winner of the competition, as judged by a panel of Teach For Australia staff and marketing industry professionals, will receive $500 cash. The winner can also choose a university club or society that they are a member of to receive an additional $100 cash.
The entry bundle including the brief, rules and entry form can be at www.teachforaustralia.org, or by emailing competition@teachforaustra lia.org.
