Enjoy lunch, coffee and dessert at The Newseum and a self-guided tour. Join DC MIIS Alumni at The Newseum on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 9 am for a self-guided tour of the museum. We will learn about the museum’s history, exhibits and programs. The museum is awesome and offers visitors an experience that blends five centuries of news history with updated technology and hands-on exhibits.
If we have 10 or more in our group, we can get a discount on the ticket price per person. Group tickets cost $16.00 per person and must be prepaid by credit card. Tickets must be purchased 2 weeks in advance of the event date. If you plan to attend this event, please RSVP to Jennifer Ullman at jullman@ntgts.org no later than June 13. If we have 10 or more in our group, then we will move forward to purchase advance tickets. If not, tickets per person will be $20.00.
This is an excellent opportunity to meet up with some DC MIIS friends.
