I am very interested in joining one of the school's M.A. programs but I am debating whether to follow the track in Conference Interpreting vs. the one in T&I. Based on my readings of the brochures I have at hand, my question is: are there any simultaneous interpreting courses offered in the T&I track? I did n...ot see any... Thank you for any light anyone may shade on this matter.

Daniel, typically, unless you have professional experience already in conference interpreting, we would suggest that you apply for the T&I track. Simultaneous interpretation courses are offered to students in that track and individuals who show superior ability in that area after their first year are usually guided by their faculty mentors into ... See Morethe Conference Interpreting track. In addition, only those students who do exceptionally well after their first year are encouraged along those lines.

The other thing is that once you are in you do not have to decide right away. I changed my path after the first year... Switched from wanting to do CI to TLM (Translation and Localization Management). Once you are studying and talking to teachers you'll figure it out for yourself =)
