Join MSL at the Jason Hearl 5K Run/Walk this Thursday, 7 pm at Sugar Hollow Park. Registration begins at 6 pm. All registration fees and donations benefit the Hearl family to help with Jason's recovery.
Jason Hearl is a Virginia High graduate who played baseball for the Bearcats. He is undergoing rehabilitation at the... Shepherd Center in Atlanta for a congenital malformation called Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), which is a clumping of the arteries and veins in the brain. One of these vessels burst and bled, leading to a hemorrhagic stroke in his left dominate hemisphere, the Thalmic region which is responsible for motor skills.
