Frightful weather (in the low 40s, raining and windy) didn’t deter 275 idiots from racing their shopping carts on Sunday morning. The first annual Asheville Idiotarod was an epic test of stamina, will and creativity.

To enter the Xpress Holiday Art Contest, here’s what you do: Create holiday-inspired art within a squarish space (9.5” H x 10.25” W) and keep the colors bright!

crayons, colored pencils or pastels (no graphite pencil, please). Entries must be received at the Xpress no later than Friday, Nov. 20. All artwork must have a completed registration form affixed to the back. Don’t forget to include a SASE if you’d like your
