Student protests Continue: On Monday Nov 30th , students of University of Mohaghegh-Ardabili (located in Ardebil province in north-western Iran) protested to the presence of ...Safar-Harandi, former minister of Islamic Culture of Ahmadinejad’s ninth administration. Students by singing revolutionary songs and chanting slogans showed their objection to the coup government and its representatives. At one point students were chanting “A general without star [pointing to Safar-Harandi] does not even deserve that a shoe be thrown at him!”
روز دوشنبه گذشته صفار هرندی برای سخنرانی در دانشگاه محقق اردبیلی حاضر شد که جلسه وی در این دانشگاه نیز با اعتراض گسترده دانشجویان روبرو شد.به گزارش خبرنامه امیرکبیر دانشجویان دانشگاه محقق اردبیلی به هنگام سخنرانی صفارهرندی شعارهایی همچون "ننگ ما ننگ ما، قاتل فرهنگ ما"، "مرگ بر روسیه"، " 63 درصدت کو، دروغگو"، "یا حسین میر حسین"، "کروبی با غیرت برس به داد ملت"، "خونی که در رگ ماست، هدیه به ملت ماست"، "الله اکبر"، "رسانه های شیطان، ایرنا و فارس و کیهان" و ... سر دادند. گرچه حضور صفارهرندی در دانشگاه محقق اردبیلی نیز با اعتراض پیش بینی نشده دانشجویان مواجه شد، خبرگزاری دولتی ایرنا و خبرگزار ی سپاهی فارس با دروغپردازی سعی کردند اعتراضات دانشجویان را نادیده بگیرند.خبرگزاری ایرنا در گزارش خود در مورد حاشیه های این مراسم نوشته است: "گاه و بيگاه شعارهايی از قبيل يا حسين مير حسين و مرگ بر روسيه توسط چند نفر از دانشجويان كه در رديفهای آخری سالن نشسته بودند، داده شد. در همين حال قاطبه دانشجويان هم كه با اين گروه مخالف بودند شعارهای انحرافی آنان را با فريادهای يا حسين كربلا پاسخ میدادند."خبرگزاری نیمه رسمی فارس نیز در مورد حاشیه های این مراسم نوشته است: " در مجموع 5 سوال كتبی و 6 سوال شفاهی از مدعو پرسيده شد كه صفارهرندی در كمال آرامش به آنها پاسخ گفت."این دو خبرگزاری در گزارش خود سعی کرده اند تعداد دانشجویان معترض را اندک و حامیان صفار را "تعداد زیادی از دانشجویان" عنوان کنند.دانشجویان دانشگاه محقق اردبیلی برای افشای دروغگویی خبرگزاری های ایرنا و فارس 2 فیلم از اعتراضات خود به صفار هرندی به خبرنامه امیرکبیر ارسال کرده اند که این فیلم ها را می توانید در2 لینک زیر مشاهده کنید.در یکی از این فیلم ها دانشجویان دانشگاه محقق اردبیلی خطاب به صفارهرندی می گویند: "ژنرال بی ستاره ارزش کفش نداره". در فیلمی دیگر نیز دانشجویان با خواندن سرود یاردبستانی نسبت به حضور صفارهرندی از عوامل کودتاچیان اعتراض می کنند. در این فیلم سالن مملو از دانشجویان معترض مشخص است.ا

In the same line, The Coordination Council of Reform Front by issuing a statement, while criticizing the heave security atmosphere imposed on universities and the confrontations with academia, called Student Day “the origin of passion and enthusiasm on the path of pursuing people’s demands and rights”. The Islamic Association of University Faculty Members in a letter addressed to Farhad Rahbar, the Chancellor of Tehran University, asked him to issue a permission for Dec 7th... “Student Day” rallies. In this letter it was stated : “We believe that by issuing this permission [for Dec 7th rallies] the Iranian nation will witness the participation of groups and organisations that are independent from the government and official ruling organisations, in these kinds of ceremonies;[people will witness the participation of those] who while protesting to the government and criticising some of the governmental organisations, would clearly demonstrate their beliefs and commitments to the constitution and principals and ideas of Islam and the Revolution.”

Cold Reception for Ahmadinejad in Isfahan despite all the advertisement and efforts (Dec 2nd)
به گزارش یکی از شاهدان عینی: "مراسم قرار بود 10 شروع بشه اما با 3 الی 4 ساعت تاخیر شروع شد که البته اونا بهونه میارن که تو استقبال مردم گیر کرده بودن اما دروغ چون میدون خالی بود و منتظر بودن پرش کنن چند نکته قابل اهمیت بود:هر گوشه ای رو که میدیدی مردم داشتن نامه مینوشتن و ماشین پستم یکی در میدان نقش جهان و یکی سر کوچه مخابرات بود و ماوران پستچی نامه ها رو در گونیهایی ابی جمع میکردن/اتوبوسها از میدان دروازه دولت بیرون میدان تا انقلاب تعداد زیادی پارک بودن که دانش اموزان رو از سر تا سر اصفهان اورده بودن./ تمام دانش اموزان رو بسیج کرده بودن و مدارس تعطیل بود از دبیرستانی گرفته تا هنرستانی و راهنمایی و حتی دبستانی ها با این اوصاف میدان نصفشم پر نشد./ تصاویر تلوزیون هم فقط کوشه میدان رو نشان میداد... خلاصه بازم ابروشون رفت."ا
Here is a citizen report that was sent to us by one of our supports of what he witnessed firsthand: Ahmadinejad’s speech was postponed for 3-4 hours and they were claiming that Ahmadinejad was stock in the traffic because of the huge turnout but the truth was that they were trying to somehow fill the empty square. If you looked at any corner people were writing letters stating their demands to hand in to the authorities who were collecting the letters saying that Ahmadinejad will read them all and reply to their requests! There were many buses parked alongside the street that brought students from all over the province for Ahmadinejad’s speech!They had mobilised all the students from high schools to elementary schools, they even closed down all the schools in the city but despite all these they could not even fill half of the square where Ahmadinejad was going to give his speech at…and the TV footages were only shot with closed angle, showing only a corner of the square to cover up the empty spaces and the cold reception.
