Monash Student Association (MSA)

About the MSA
Students Working for Students

The Monash Student Association (MSA) is the student union at Monash University’s Clayton Campus, and is the only part of the University community that is student managed.

The MSA is made up of many departments that work to represent students, making university a fun and vibrant place to be. MSA is your link to uni life. Let us introduce you to the many programs and services that engage you in the Monash community.

Decisions in the MSA are made by the Monash Student Council and the MSA Executive, two bodies that are comprised of elected representatives, divisional representatives and Office Bearers, all of whom are students.

Make the most of your student experience - get involved in the MSA today!

When you enroll at Monash Clayton you automatically become a part of the Monash Student Association. With headquarters located on the first floor of the Campus Centre, your association is completely brought to you by students. We are comprised of elected office bearers who make the big decisions and staff who help facilitate these. The association has several departments and divisions which all operate with a common purpose: to serve and represent Clayton students.

When you have concerns about your education, or if you want an issue addressed, the MSA is the place to have your voice heard.

How do you do this? There are a number of ways. Submit a letter or an article to be printed in the student newspaper Lot's Wife, find out when Student General Meetings are held (and vote), join a committee (there's loads), or even run for election in second semester.

Being passionate about issues isn't the only way to get involved either. The MSA also offers a lighter side to student life, with activities, a radio station, a theatre house, recreational courses, clubs and societies and various student lounges.

Your university experience is what you make of it - so grab it with both hands!
