I am a conservative Republican and believe that Freedom of Speech is one of the many freedoms our great country was founded on. The framers of our Constitution fought hard to ensure that our voice would not be oppressed and this principle still stands today. It is not uncommon to see volunteers outside of post offices and libraries collecting signatures for candidates.

I support safety concerns surrounding people near the flow of traffic unprotected and as stated earlier, PSA workers (firefighters, police man, ambulance workers, etc) are required to wear federal mandate safety vests when near the roadways. The dump is near the roadway and often people are left standing in the roadway or near the roadway at the vehicle entrance!

I do not find the township is shutting down speech. Perhaps people should seize this as an opportunity to explore more creative ways to campaigning as today's technology is taking us much further.... Read More

Actually the safety vest are a new federal mandate required by all PSA workers nationwide so it doesn't surprise me that the powers that be would stretch this provision.
