I'd like to show my appreciation to a wonderful library that has provided me with an economical and environmental way of feeding my reading addiction (delivering books practically at my door step to boot!).
Multnomah County Library 'Tis the season of giving. With The Library Foundation’s help, the library’s literacy programs are changing the future for thousands of at-risk children. The unemployed are able to access the Internet and one-on-one help from librarians. And families struggling to get by are enjoying free educational, arts and cultural activities.

Multnomah County Library One more note about the fire near Holgate library. Holgate will be closed for the rest of the day today due to air quality issues caused by the Marysville School fire. The library will reopen as scheduled on Wednesday, Nov. 11. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Nearly 500 Marysville Elementary School students and teachers took shelter at nearby Holgate library this morning and early afternoon as fire broke out and engulfed the school. We are happy to report that all Marysville students and teachers are safe and accounted for.
