Murmansk is supporting one of the best shoegaze-noise acts out there, A Place To Bury Strangers (US) when they appear at Indie-Iltamat festival & tour in Turku, Helsinki and Tampere. The dates are as follows: 29 Jul Klubi/Tre, 30 Jul Klubi/Tku, 31 Jul Tavastia/Hki. Dead Combo also in the line-up.

Murmansk's second album Eleven Eyes To Shade in stores this Wednesday, 6th May!!! The release is celebrated this Friday at new Bar Loose, showtime 2300 sharp. Tickets 8 euros. You're warmly welcome!!! The gig is going to be a bit longer than usually, and we'll also feature guest visitors.

A couple of words on our new release. It comes in digipak and the cover art is based on photography by Jean-Marie Soulié, who was living in North-Greenland in the late 60s/early 70s. We are truly thankful that we could use those pictures, they make an extra-ordinary and beautiful cover for Eleven Eyes To Shade. When it comes to the music itself, for us it is sincerely the best that this band has made so far. If you liked our debut album, you're going to like this even better. But it may also be a more difficult album, so give it some time.
