Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu Well, finished all of our shows in Japan and we're all back at home, jet lag has set in. It was thrilling, exhausting, humbling, and inspiring. We made wonderful friends with the halau, kumu, and event organizers we traveled with. Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu in Japan, unforgettable.

Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu We were delayed a couple of hours in the Sapporo Airport on our way to Tokyo due to a typhoon hitting the island. Kawika Trask broke out his ukulele and Manu, Robert and Alden jumped in, and all of a sudden we were having ourselves a great time!

Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu Exhausted. A long day of travel today from Hiroshima to Sapporo today; time for bed.

Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu We had the opportunity to visit the Peace Park in Hiroshima this morning; a very sobering time of reflection, something we'll never forget. Leaving our leis at the shrine and visiting the museum gave a chance in our hectic schedule to stop and remember. Just finished our show, off to Sapporo tomorrow morning. Off to dinner now. Aloha!

Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu The first show in Osaka was great, so much fun. Saw a few Na Lei Hulu fans in the crowd during our dances; Mahalo for coming!! It`s quite the marathon of a show with 4 or 5 Japanese halau performing as well; about three and a half hours last night. The hotel computer isn`t letting me download pictures, so as soon as I ...get a wifi connection I`ll be sure to post them. Aloha for now, leaving for Hiroshima in 30 minutes.

Na Lei Hulu I Ka Wekiu Got into Osaka tonight around 6:30pm; took awhile to actually make our way out of the Kansai airport. Headed straight to the hotel, dropped off our bags and walked over to the theater to run a short tech rehearsal. It was mind boggling, inspiring and fantastic to see all the halau...It was overwheming to see all the ...Kumu dance together...coolest tech rehearsal we`ve been to.
