Lisa Osborne Tillis

Lisa Osborne Tillis Last night we were watching Growing Up Clouded Leopard on Animal Planet. It was dated 2004 and featured two clouded leopard cubs, Ming and Mei, who were transferred to the Nashville Zoo at 3 months old. Are either still at the Nashville Zoo?

Amanda do you have any policies regarding strollers? I'm a new member with a new baby (well, 6 month old baby), so I need to know. :)

Cortney Sanders Will the cool weather this weekend affect the number of animals on dispay. Planning to bring my children on Saturday, but had a very bad experience with no animals at Knoxville zoo a couple of years ago. An honest answer please. I do not want to disappoint my children. Thanks

Hi Cortney,
While most of our animals adapt to Nashville's climate, some don... Read More’t have the ability to adjust to cooler conditions and must stay inside. When conditions are between 40-50 degrees, our keepers will look at other conditions: Is it sunny? Is there a cold or warm wind? How old is the animal? These conditions will determine if and how long certain animals, including African wild dogs, apes, monkeys, giraffes, tropical birds and bongos, will be outside. I recommend checking the forecast on Saturday morning before heading out.
