Powell III, while strolling through this innovative thematic installation before it opened earlier this fall. Speakers at the podium include Powell, Meyerhoff, and Victoria P. Sant, president, National Gallery of Art.

It was installed in November 2008 along the moving walkway between the East and West Buildings, where more than 41,000 LEDs (light-emitting diodes) are programmed to display kinetic configurations of light.
