Amy Hi NHSC! I am wondering if you can give an update on time frames for applications being approved. I submitted mine in September and haven't heard anything. I'm sure others are trying to wait patiently as well. I know there is a significant volume of applications but can you give any idea about how long it has been taking to process them? Thanks!
Chris I recently received loan repayment funds and applied the amount receive towards my loans. Where do I need to send a copy of my payment history to show that those funds have been applied?
Thomas Fewer I have received the loan repayment funds yet my site has not been approved. My PPO application is still under review. It has been about two weeks since the funds were deposited into my account. I am waiting to pay off my loans until I have confirmation about my site. I also know that there is a 30 day deadline. I have ...spoken to someone at the call center but am unable to reach anyone else at NHSC. I would like to avoid being penalized for not paying off my loans within 30 days. Please advise.
Carrie Just booked my flight to San Antonio today :) Due to flight times, I am coming a day early and leaving a day late-just enough time to hang out in TX...and they pay for the extra 2 days stay!

Tina Cvitanovich I have received a letter stating that I will be awarded the money but what happens after that? Do they send you a check? Can anyone answer this question. Thanks
Jody Brewer I received my award letter in August and received the money to pay off my entire student loan in November. What an amazing program NHSC has for anyone who wants to serve in the underserved populations. See you in San Antonio.

Diane Roell I am working in community mental health in Michigan and also going to San Antonio. I was wondering, does NHSC have a program for current nursing education? I got my award for past student loans, but later went back to school for antoher post-master's in psychiatry, and am currently in a doctoral program. I saw a pos...t that made me think there might be assistance for that too- anyone know? thanks
